Prague

After months of planning two of my friends and I finally made it to Prague. We were a little nervous about the trip because, as some of you may know, the Czech Republic is a very poor country just recently been released from communist rule. Rental cars are not allowed to be taken into the country and any auto insurance you have may become obsolete once you cross the boarder. Despite the warnings we made our
way into the Czech Republic on Friday, August 18th and had a wonderful, incident free trip. Well, mostly.

Before heading into the city of Prague we stopped for lunch at Kentucky Fried Chicken which is very popular in the country. This is a picture of the menu board.

After a long day of walking the city we sat down to a delicious Cezch "Trdelnik". I still don't know exactly what it was besides fried dough, cinnamon and sugar but it was so good. It filled up the entire area with its glorious smell!

Bet you didn't know that the original Budweiser was made in the Cezch Republic.

On our last morning we toured the Jewish Museum and Cemetery. The cemetery was created in the 15th century when it was illegal for Jews to bury their dead outside of their own district. Since space was so scarce the graves of the cemetery are estimated to be buried 12 deep!
